I spent about 30 minutes adding tags to the most recent threads on my board today on the BoardTracker site -- clicking the "be the first to add tags" link and when I searched for threads again, none of them appeared?!
What's up with that? Is there a delay between when the tags are entered and when they appear on the listings?
Interestingly, when I tried to add one again, the previously entered ones did appear, but then disappear again, when searching.
Could you please explain this.

BoardTracker works in a cluster design.
It is very probable that due to temporary load or other reasons, it might take a bit before the tags you added will "propagate" throughout the system.
Do they appear now?
